DS 4 - the review of a long distance
Previously, in order to book a car, we had to call dealerships and reschedule appointments several times. But with DC it was different. The small DS dealer network was closer than we expected, and we didn't have to travel to the far reaches of the country to inspect the car. In addition, DS offers a concierge service that puts the client at the center of attention.
I made an inquiry online and selected the "delivery and collection" option to register an application for a car service. Although I could have requested a replacement car, I didn't. Alex from DS Brentford soon contacted me to discuss a pickup, service and return schedule for the car. We agreed to pick up the car the next evening and return the next day. When he arrived he was very friendly and polite and took my car in for a checkup. He was like gold - arrived on time and did everything perfectly.
I received a link to the web page in an email the next morning. It contained a detailed description of the work done and I learned that the car had been serviced and had a clean certificate of condition. The technician who did the maintenance even made a video. After that, Alex returned the car to me, which was clean inside and out thanks to the valet. It was a great experience for me as a fully paid member of the cynicism club. I have never had such a pleasant dealer experience before. My concerns about the lack of DS dealerships in the UK have completely disappeared. When a client's life becomes so simple, it's just a joy.
We should just wait until other companies in the automotive industry realize the importance of prioritizing the customer. I assume this may take some time.
